DBG Thought Contributors.

DBG Thought Contributors is a curated network of writers, thinkers, and operators sharing insights on Africa’s growth, institutions, and future industries.

We are building a body of work that looks beyond headlines and focuses on systems, sectors, and long-term opportunity.

What We Publish

We are interested in ideas that explore:

  • African growth sectors (Energy, Fintech, Agriculture, Logistics, etc.)
  • Business strategy and market opportunities
  • Infrastructure and systems thinking
  • Education and institutional development
  • Culture as an economic driver

Every article should answer a simple question: What does the future look like, and what will it take to build it?

What We Look For

We publish thoughtful, structured, and forward-looking work.

Submissions should be:

  • Original (not published elsewhere)
  • Insight-driven, not opinion-heavy
  • Clear in argument and structure
  • Grounded in reasoning, data, or real-world observation

Submission Guidelines

  • 700 – 2,000 words
  • Clear headline and structured sections
  • Minimal fluff (clarity over complexity)
  • Focused on Africa or African markets

Review Process

All submissions are reviewed by DBG. Selected articles will be edited and published on DBG Insights.

We may refine the structure, clarity, and tone to align with our editorial standards but you will still be credited as the author.
