Project Overview
ICMEAS 2025 partnered with Designed by Gusto (DBG) to design a dedicated conference website that serves as the central digital platform for the event. The objective was to create a structured and reliable system for communicating conference information, managing participant engagement, and supporting academic visibility.
As an international conference hosted by Nile University of Nigeria, the platform needed to reflect credibility, clarity, and professionalism—ensuring that researchers, academics, and participants can easily access key information and navigate the event ecosystem.
ICMEAS engaged DBG to deliver a website design solution focused on clarity, structure, and user experience within an academic context.
The scope of work included user interface design, information architecture, and content structuring tailored to the needs of a conference platform. Particular attention was given to organizing key sections such as conference details, submission guidelines, schedules, and speaker information—ensuring that users can easily find and interact with relevant content.
Every design decision was guided by the need to balance simplicity with completeness—presenting complex academic information in a way that is accessible, well-structured, and easy to navigate.
The platform was designed to function as a comprehensive conference hub, bringing together all essential information in a clear and organized format. This included structured sections for call for papers, registration details, conference tracks, schedules, and speaker highlights—ensuring that participants can seamlessly move from information discovery to action.
A strong emphasis was placed on content hierarchy and usability, allowing users—whether first-time visitors or returning participants—to quickly understand the scope of the conference and locate what they need. This is particularly important in academic environments, where clarity and accessibility directly impact participation and engagement.
In addition, the website was designed to support the credibility of the conference by presenting information in a clean, professional format aligned with international academic standards. The layout ensures consistency across devices, allowing users to access the platform efficiently from anywhere.
